Fayette Presbyterian's Children's Ministry offers a safe and nurturing
setting where children can experience fellowship with God, as revealed in Jesus
Christ. Our classes and activities are your child's opportunity to worship
God and grow in understanding as they experience Bible stories and make friends. We seek to guide all participants, both learners and leaders, to ministries of
prayer and interaction with God's world and others (mission). We believe
each person, regardless of age, is lovable and gifted by God for service to
others (Even parents are God's children!). Our objective is to equip
and encourage children as they grow in their own Christian faith and
witness - that they too may lift Hands to Serve, Hearts to Christ!

After the children's moment during the
11:00 a.m. worship
service, children may leave the sanctuary to participate in Children in
Worship or Children's Church.
Children in Worship is a Montessori worship time
for ages 3 & 4 in room A-6. Each month a different volunteer teacher leads
the lesson.
Children's Church is a time for worship, Bible
story and fellowship for kindergarten through 3rd grade. During Children's
Church, we use the Camp Wannabe tents downstairs, the playground and sometimes
fellowship hall. Our focus is usually the same Bible story as the text for
that week's sermon and or another activity from Camp Wannabe. We also
learn the Lord's Prayer, Apostles' Creed or music to prepare us for worship with
the entire congregation.
