Children’s Ministry Director
Description: Promote,
oversee, and lead Children’s Ministry at Fayette Presbyterian Church.
Qualification: A
successful Candidate will possess:
- Experience with and passion for
Children’s Ministry.
- At least a two year degree.
- An ability to work with a fluid,
sometimes spontaneous, staff.
- A desire to involve as many of God’s
children in ministry as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Children’s Church Sun. 8:30AM-9:30AM; 11:00AM-12:00PM
- Build upon the successful program
that is already in place.
- Recruit all necessary volunteers.
- Children in Worship Sun. 8:30AM-9:30AM; 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
- Build upon the successful ministry
that is already in place.
- Recruit all necessary volunteers.
- Kid’s Club:
Wed. 4:30 PM-7:30 PM
- Provide a Children’s program(s) for
4-10 year olds.
- Recruit and train all necessary volunteers.
- Coordinate Camp Wannabe (Workshop
Rotation Sunday School for 5-10 yr olds)
- Recruit, train, and staff the Design Team.
- Resource and serve on the design
team and teachers.
- Teach part of the Rotation, when
needed.
- Supervise Nursery Coordination.
- Contact families with young children
that visit FPC.
- Attend the weekly Staff meeting.
- Help to coordinate Vacation Bible
School.
- Other responsibilities as determined
by the Associate Pastor or Head of Staff.
Hours:
Sunday Morning: 4.5
hours 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Wednesday Evening: 3.5 hours 4:30 PM to
8:00 PM
Tues. Staff Meeting: 1 hour
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Accountability: The
Children’s ministry Director is hired by the Senior Pastor in consultation with
the Christian Education and Youth and Family Life Committees.
